At Woodys Floor sanding we sand floors by using industrial type drum sanders. Woodys Floor sanding will take the utmost care to restore floors to a near original state. Woodys Floor sanding use a variety of varnishes ranging from resin based varnish (Drying time between coats +/- 2 hours), to polyurethane varnish (Drying time +/- 4 Hours between coats), and a water based varnish (Drying time +/- 1 – 2 Hours between coats). The differences between the varnishes is that the spirit based varnishes tend to discolour the sanded floors to a darker colour once applied than which is the case with the water based varnish.
